Weekly Forex Forecast

The Weekly Forex Forecast shows my favorite currency pairs for trading in the upcoming week. Using a multi-time-frame approach, I illustrate my market approach.
I always start by looking at the DXY and then provide a brief overview of my top picks. I try to narrow it down to no more than 8-10 pairs to monitor closely each week.
I employ a price action strategy and primarily trade continuation patterns. However, in certain instances, I seek to exploit market mispricing.
Generally, I avoid trading high-impact news events, especially with funded accounts, due to the high risk of unexpected slippage.
My Trading
Journal

This trading journal gives a clear look at my trading activities. Each trade is carefully documented, with detailed breakdowns and screenshots from higher timeframes down to the execution timeframe. I also review each trade at least one week after closing it to see if the overall strategy worked as planned.
In these reviews, I share insights about my live trades, explaining how I executed them and why I made each decision. By thinking about my approach, including the strategies I used and the market conditions at the time, I aim to improve my future trading by learning from both my successes and failures.
In trading, we often look at past behavior and patterns to predict future price movements, so my thought process stays consistent across different trades.
Missed Opportunities

In this section, you can find screenshots of my missed trades, along with a short explanation of why I missed each trade and the most significant parameters for them.
I track these missed trades in great detail and review the potential risk-reward missed for each month.
Logging these missed trades helps me overcome the FOMO mindset by demonstrating that there is more than enough potential in the market each and every month.
* Remember, technical analysis is subjective; develop your own approach. I use this format primarily to hold myself accountable and to share my personal market views. Ensure you have your own risk management in place and always stick to your trading plan.
